Here is the deal we are a family of 4 

we pay 1000 a month in rent 

the girl is a full time student --- 5 yr old also is in school 

me a carpenter --- orig from minnesota --- came to new orleans to help out but ended up having to work for myself --- in order to get paid --- most recently had the baby -- sold the truck to get a car --- and the car blew up immediately.

So that was like 8 months ago.

Are always 2 months behind on rent -- I was able to get a job building decks --- pretty easy --- anyways --- ended up getting ripped off for our last paycheck which would have been in the middle of july -- have been out of work since still no vehicle

Been waiting on the girl to get student loans --- to pay rent --- its getting old 

THen we got bedbugs --- you dont even want to know how much we have thrown away 

no we r not dirty --- not nasty -- not lazy just unlucky i guess 

we are wanting to move ----  I need to work ---

I am a trim carpenter custom builder of most anything am 35 and have around 13 yrs exp as a carpenter

45 yr old husband and father of 3. Had a small business for last 15 years. Had  a partner leave me holding 250,000. needless to say we lost everything . that was 7 years ago. I ve barely been able to get by. Recently I had 5 home depot stores counters to install. I had 98 % approval. They wanted to use a company that was much larger so I lost that account. I had another account with a large cabinet company, but the owner killed himself in aug. of 07..I am a hard worker that cant find work to save my soul. Wife was working on a new temp. full time warehouse job, but was let go early December. I am 2 months behind on rent of 1300 per mo and the utils are in danger of being shut off. what ever anyone can do would obviously be appreciated. I have never asked nor have received public help. I am at my wits end.

I am a carpenter who once made a decent living and was able to pay for college for my daughter and son. With the current economic woes I am unable to do that. My daughter is in the processs of becoming a pharmacist and is in need of funding, I cannot help

I am a 46 year old married women who is attempting to start her own business.I own property in Ca.My husband is a unemployed union carpenter who has been on the work list for over a year.I have major dental issues which hinder my business goal because I deal with the public and my m outh has become embarassing.My husband has some health issues as well.Any input ,any insight on any of these issues would be appreciated. thanks!

Looking for labor jobs

we flew to tenn. to see my dying dad.he gave me my inheritance in the form of a van. told us that we would have no problems driving it back to Wa. state. we tried to drive to Fla. to help my sister with her landscaping businesss but our trany went out in Georgia.we did make it to Fla.been here 2 yrs this mth. the lord guides us in mysterious ways. we have replaced the computer box,starter, bought 11 tires, the front brakes. the a.c is going, the inside lites &fan dont work. needs rear brakes, shocks,etc .We work. my husband is dying, he was supposed to be back in Wa last yr 4 medical attention.He wont leave without me.He is a 20 yr carpenter with references.We would like work here n Fla. &across the country 2 get back 2 Wa. state to take care of medical problems and 2 be with our children and grands. I am writing a book about the homeless situation and how hard it is to ask 4 help when u r dying. I try 2 get shutins out into the world.I was once 1.Thanks 2 God & my husband I can now deal with asking 4 help. Please hep us get home. Either with work or a donation.We have good refs.God bless u

 Moved from Arizona to Michigan to help grand-daughter. Had a good job installing cabinets, wife delivered newspapers. Came back to Michigan thinking I had a job with a building contractor. When we got here he would not answer the phone. Found a temporary job but got laid off, was able to draw unemployment for six months. Have not been able to get another job. Hoping to maybe get a roof to reshingle this week, but that is not for certain yet. Everything is about to be shut off, rent due on the 1st and no money. Just don't know what to do. Have been a carpenter for 30 years, and have allways been able to find a job. if anyone can help with something let me know. I do any type of carpenter work, roofing, siding, pole barns, kitchen and bath remodel, hang doors, etc. I just need some work in the Battle Creek area, and need it pretty quick!
